Natural way for preventing the diabetes early appearance
Active ingredient: Mulberry (Morus alba) leaf hydroalcoholic extract, with minimum 1.5% 1-deoxynojirimycin
Morus alba extract shows a significant reduction of blood glucose level. The results of studies indicate that administration of M. alba extract significantly reduces concentrations of blood glucose in diabetic subjects. The results suggest that M. alba extract has hypoglycemic capacity, and the effect is equivalent to that of glibenclamide, a widespread sulfonylurea antidiabetic drug. The hypoglycemic effects have been also evaluated in trial conducted at Minneapolis VA Medical Center (USA) on healthy control subjects (aged 24–61 years) and participants (aged 59–75 years) with type 2 diabetes without complications who were receiving mulberry plant extract. The results showed that the ingestion of plant extract with sucrose remarkably reduces the blood glucose level over first 120 min in both group of participants. In another work the crude methanol fractions of M. alba extract were subjected to evaluate the hypoglycemic effect against alloxan-induced diabetic subjects. The data suggest that the plant extract relevantly decreases the blood glucose levels and the antidiabetic effect was time- and dose dependent. With increasing dose of plant extract the level reduction of hyperglycemia was higher. In other studies three week-treatment with Morus alba extract alone produced anti-hyperglycemic effect of around 24% compared to the control. By normalizing blood sugar levels, M. alba leaf extract may help in the prevention of health problems, caused by higher blood sugar levels. The fruits, leaves, branches, and root barks of mulberry (Morus alba L.) have long been used for the treatment of diabetes in traditional Korean and Chinese medicine.
Recommendation: Do not take the product in the following cases:
1) Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients. 2) Chronic digestive disorders (including absorption disorders), chronic inflammatory bowel disease, sub occlusive syndrome antecedents, diseases that may be augmented by intestinal gas production, severe hepatic or renal disorders. If intestinal occlusion is suspected, cease administration. Do not use concomitantly with antidiabetic medicines. In case of acute hypoglycemia during administration, treatment with sugar is inappropriate. Glucose must be used to restore blood glucose levels. A diet low in sugar and other glucides is recommended during administration of the product.
Food supplements should not be used as a substitute of a balanced diet. Keep away from young children. This product is not intended for the prevention, cure or treatment of a human disease.
